The Details: Launching Small Groups
WHAT: An eight-week small group Bible study with Curtis Martin and Dr. Edward Sri on the big picture of the Bible, followed by option for continued accompaniment and practical training in missionary discipleship in the summer and fall
WHEN: February 21 – April 11
- Watch live on Monday evenings 8:00pm – 8:45pm EST
- Or watch recorded video at a convenient time for your group each week
WHO: Benefactors, mission partners, parish and pastoral ministry leaders, and our alumni and friends. Ideally, the same group meeting for SEEK could continue meeting together for this Lenten Bible study.
WHY: Many benefactors and parish leaders have expressed a desire to receive some of the training in evangelization and discipleship that FOCUS offers its staff. This is an opportunity to care for our friends and benefactors with specialized FOCUS formative content and draw them deeper into our mission.
HOW:
- A link will be sent to all registered participants.
- Participants will join the live Monday evening Bible study or view a recorded version they can watch with their group any time that week. After the presentation, participants will discuss the Bible study in their small group.
- Participants are encouraged to gather in groups to watch the presentations, meeting either in person or over video conferencing.
- Participants tuning in live for Monday evening sessions have the opportunity for Q&A with Curtis and Dr. Sri
