FOCUS Missionaries team up with i.d.916 for four episodes on EWTN

As many of you know, Curtis Martin is part of the EWTN series, Crossing the Goal. The Crossing the Goal team has filmed over 100 episodes and the show has become one of the most successful on EWTN.

Last summer, the team decided to hand over four episodes of the show to the next generation. Four FOCUS Missionaries (Sam Mazzarelli, Marcus Schoch, Ben Domingue, and myself) teamed up with two guys from i.d. 916 (Pete Burak and Joey McCoy). We used the normal Crossing the Goal format while writing all of the material from scratch. It was a really fun process and I very much like how the episodes came out.

In the four episodes, we wanted to give a vision for the New Evangelization and then walk through the FOCUS model of Win, Build, and Send. For the last three episodes, we wanted to leave the audience with practical tools that they could use.

Here’s the run down:

  • Episode 1: Why the New Evangelization?
  • Episode 2: Win: Developing a Heart for God (Tool: Gospel Presentation)
  • Episode 3: Build: Developing a Heart for God’s People (Tool: Discipleship Road Map)
  • Episode 4: Send: Bearing Fruit for the Kingdom (Tool: Spiritual Multiplication Depth Chart)

All four episodes are embedded below.

Episode 1: Why the New Evangelization?

Episode 2: Win: Developing a Heart for God

Episode 3: Build: Developing a Heart for God’s People

Episode 4: Send: Bearing Fruit for the Kingdom
