Fr. Agustino Torres, C.F.R.

Fr. Agustino Torres, C.F.R. is a priest with the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal based in the Bronx, NY where he serves his community on the General Council. His current assignment is as itinerant preacher, and college chaplain. He is founder of Corazon Puro an organization dedicated to forming young adults to flourish in their call always grounded in a Catholic identity. He hosts the EWTN Español television show “Clic con Corazon Puro,” as well as “ICONS” in English. He was one of the friars who founded Catholic Underground, a cultural apostolate of the Friars of the Renewal; Casa Guadalupe, and JPII houses of discernment for women and men respectively. He has been asked to serve the Church in the US especially by way of advising on outreach to the Latino population. He is internationally sought to address topics like the Church’s teachings about anthropology, prayer, evangelization, and vocational discernment. Every year, Fr. Agustino speaks to more than 25,000 youth and millions of persons through the media.
